Common faults

Annual maintenance
Exchanger and burner cleaning, descaling, gas/air setting, flue draught test, safety-thermostat and flue-sensor check, water-filter cleaning, gas-leak test. For open-flue models we verify the ventilation grille is clear — skipping this creates a carbon-monoxide risk.
Installation and relocation
Open-flue models may not go in bedrooms or bathrooms; room-sealed models can be fitted on an outside wall. We check gas pipework, flue route and ventilation on site and report gas-leak and flue tests after fitting. Switching from an old open-flue unit to a room-sealed model is our recommendation for both safety and efficiency.
Electric heaters
Element, thermostat, safety valve and anode checks; descaling cuts heating time and electricity use. The supply must run through an RCD — we verify it.

FAQ
Common questions about water-heater service.
Can a water heater go in the bathroom?
Open-flue units cannot be installed in bathrooms or bedrooms. Room-sealed units can, provided they connect to an outside wall; suitability is checked on site.
It lights but the water is only lukewarm — why?
Usually a scaled exchanger, low gas pressure or wrong temperature/flow setting; descaling and adjustment during maintenance fixes it.
Water heater or combi boiler?
For hot water only, a water heater is the economical choice. If you also need heating, a combi covers both with one appliance; we decide together on site.

How is the service fee set?
After diagnosis, the work and any part cost are quoted clearly before we start. Nothing is done without your approval.

Yes. Our team holds MYK vocational-qualification and Ministry of Education certificates and spent years in DemirDöküm and Vaillant authorised service; new technicians come through our EU-funded vocational course.
Is the work guaranteed?
Repair workmanship and the genuine parts we fit are covered by a written guarantee stated on the service report.
